I was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In 1998 I moved to California. Growing up in a family restaurant business, i got the chance to built up my skills at a very young age. I grew up in a mix culture family where dinner was consist of different dishes that represent different cultures. Anything from Khmer to Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Laos, Argentinian, and Italian food. Cooking had always been my passion since I was six years old. I love to experimenting new dish by combinding the ingredients from different cultures to create a new flavor. Beside cooking, traveling is what i love to do because travel to different countries open up my eyes to new ideas, new flavor, and new cuisines. I am so passionate in food that I enroll myself at The Culinary Institute of America as culinary art student. Upon coming here to the CIA, I attended and gratuated in Pattisserie and Baking from Le Cordon Bleu. On my free times, I enjoy fishing, running, and fruits and vegetables carving.
